"ITAMS were initially asked to facilitate a ‘workshop’ where stakeholders within Geopost could discuss the challenges faced and use ITAMS as a mentor to provide a strategy and guidance as to the most suitable way to identify and monitor their assets. Once this plan had been defined, ITAMS were asked to source appropriate technology solutions to assist Geopost in executing the strategy. Via a selection process, a product has been selected and along with a full time asset manager, robust policies, processes and systems are being put in place which will be used to underpin IT strategy and support the day to day running of the department."
